Dragon Fruit – A Taste of Sunshine from a Friend’s Rooftop

A dear friend of mine has been growing dragon fruit on his rooftop balcony.

After months of careful tending, the plant finally bore fruit, and he surprised me with a harvest.

The moment I cut into it, the brilliant magenta flesh almost glowed on the plate.

Sweet, refreshing, and vibrant—it wasn’t just delicious, it carried the warmth of friendship and the joy of something homegrown.

Eating it, I felt like I was tasting a little bit of sunshine from his rooftop :))
