She Takes Flight Toward Her Calling
At twilight’s edge, she stands alone,
Where silence hums and dreams were sown.
The earth behind is spent and blind,
But skies ahead are fierce, unlined.
A whisper rides the reckless breeze:
“To rise is pain, but to stay — to freeze.”
So though the storm may cut her skin,
She spreads her wings and soars within.
She takes flight toward her calling,
Though the sky is dark and sprawling.
The winds may scream, the path unknown,
But her wings knows the goal.
She was lost, but not for nothing,
Every scar a song still humming.
She lives where wings and roots are found,
For heights where truths resound.
Beneath Melbourne’s moonlit grace,
She walks unseen through shifting space.
Not to flee, but to recall,
The fire within she thought would fall.
The cracks now glow, the wounds now bloom,
She turns her ache into her room.
She speaks in silence, loves in light,
And learns to trust her inner flight.
The meteor storm rained blades to shape her path,
And every wound unveiled her wrath.
Once she bowed to quiet fear,
Now she carves the sky so clear.
She has stood in storm and flame,
Whispered prayers, surrendered name.
Once her faith began to fall,
But she heard the silent call.
Now her mind grows sharp and wide,
She spreads her wings, no need to hide.
She flies to find her kindred soul,
Toward the quest that makes her whole.
She calls beyond the edge of night,
A beacon born of inner light.
“If you have bled, and still believe,”
“Come — where dreamers dare and grieve.”
She plants her fire in fertile ground,
Where silent kin are outward bound.
No longer lone, but soul-aligned,
A haven forged by kindred mind.
