Nyxilith
In twilight’s veil, it stirs the skies,
A being born where silence lies.
Silver fur like starlit streams,
Eyes that carry shattered dreams.
Crowned with antlers, glowing bright,
It walks through shadows, forged in night.
A guide for those who lost their way,
But even stars can fade to gray.
Its light, a hush upon the sky, a moonlit breath, a silver sigh.
Now wanes beneath a hollow dome,
The world it led now drowns in stone,
Yet in its heart, the doubts have grown.
It led the lost to morning’s grace,
But now it roams through time and space.
The whispers once like echoes kissed,
Now vanish soft in fading mist.
With steps like smoke, it fades through time,
Its tail weaves stars in silent rhyme.
Antlers rise with roots that glow,
A beacon high, yet lost below.
It watched as hearts grew cold as stone,
The truths it sought now lie unknown.
The souls it healed now drown in strife,
And in its own, it questions life.
Though the world still drowns in night,
A flicker stirs, a thread of light.
Tiny embers drift through air,
Ghosts of warmth that once burned there.
Darkness lingers, vast and deep,
Yet dawn may wake from where it sleeps.
For in the wandering, hope survives,
And the lost may find their way… alive.
